What a day! Today was full of good things.
Waking up early makes a difference.
We woke up earlier than usual, so the kids all made it
to S.S. on time, and I was only 5 min. late. Whoo hoo.
Our youth Impact team served a chili dinner after
church. A youth's uncle made his prize winning
chili and her mom made the yummiest cinnamon
rolls. The church was incredible in their support, one
of our biggest dinners yet. We raised over $1200
in donations. Wow! The youth did a great job in
helping serve and clean up
Later we go back for a shepherd's mtg (the adults
who help lead youth small groups) Jody and some
youth are hosting and cooking the meal and watching
kiddos. Then later will be small groups.
So this is a day with no cooking. Like I said,
A GREAT DAY!!
